Is this the rumored Samsung Galaxy SIII? Phone Arena published a high-resolution render of a new device saying to be the successor to the Galaxy S II. May be it’s fake like the leaked Galaxy S II Plus render, but I believed it was cool so we are sharing it with you.

This device has turn out to be so hyped that it is nearly not possible to keep up with all the expected leaks and rumors. We have previously seen reports that the Galaxy S III would release in February, April, then May, and now the latest speculation is June.

Whenever it is time to lastly announce the device, Samsung has said it will occur at a separate Samsung-hosted event and not at a business show like CTIA Wireless. A Samsung associate previously said that the champion to the Galaxy S II would be revealed “closer to commercial availability of the product” so we could however be waiting for several months.

Rumored specifications of the Galaxy S III involve:

  • Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED Plus screen
  • Quad-core 1.5-1.8 GHz Exynos 4412 brand
  • 12 MP rear camera, HD front camera
  • Only 7 mm thick
  • Ceramic covering

Most recently, the Russian blog writer Eldar Murtazin tweeted that the Galaxy S III design was completed and headed to production. He also said that pre-orders from store partners were an all time high, which suits earlier rumors. The exactness of Eldar’s reviews have been all over the place, but he been appropriate on many occasions and I will let you judge this latest rumor.
